I offer psychotherapy to people who feel drawn to explore and expand their self awareness and transform emotional confusion and suffering. I believe that it’s in relationship with others where we are harmed and it’s also in relationship with others where we can heal and grow. The therapy relationship facilitates a healing conversation because it is a place of safety where you can begin to expand your ability to communicate, develop your capacity for self compassion, deepen your emotional understanding, and increase your self confidence.
I work well with people who are creative, sensitive, curious, and looking for greater understanding rather than to be “fixed.” I draw from an eclectic variety of theoretical approaches, rooting myself in the depth psychology tradition and a variety of somatically informed modalities while avoiding psychoanalytic dogma and jargon in favor of a more creative, spontaneous, and alive connection with my clients.
What this means is that I strive to facilitate a safe and open space where we can listen with care and curiosity to your story and the symptoms you hope to address in a manner that is both embodied and relational. I am seeing clients over telehealth and in person at my office in Sedro Woolley.
